This episode is dedicated to Ahmed Muin Abuamsha and the Gaza Bird Singing. An Edward Said Conservatory music teacher, Ahmed found himself in the devastation of Gaza, and provided asylum for displaced children through music practice, including harmonising with war drones. A video of this community, the Gaza Bird Singing, singing a song with the drones went viral last year, with countless musicians worldwide getting together to learn the song and recording responses.
